Reasons For Drying Gas Pipelines Prior to Commissioning :
Water inside an operating pipeline is the source of many problems:
1.) System Pressure regulators can freeze during the winter months
2.) Natural gas hydrates can form and clog all sizes of H.P pipelines, can also cause direct risk of system failure
3.) Minimize internal failure, free water in pipeline can cause internal stress, corrosion and cracking. (Over a short period of time this can also cause a Major Failure)
4.)Mechanical Cleaning techniques will not remove all water since water adheres to the pipe walls due to capillary forces
Note: A High Rate of Drying can be achieved by utilizing our deeply pre-dried air & techniques
